Steve is an Engineer by trade who has held roles in Design, Manufacturing, Procurement and Operations in businesses where there is the requirement to manage technical complexity. He currently is the Engineering Director for a UK business providing automated warehouse systems. Steve has held roles where he has been required to relocate manufacturing operations in the UK and on-shoring operations back into the UK, managing significant change within the business and establishing business infrastructure from the ground up. He has operated at board level for a number of businesses, and has a sound practical understanding of the development and deployment of strategy to enable growth of organisations without compromising outcomes for all the stakeholders involved. Steve has previously been a Trustee at a local Pre-School for in excess of 10 year, where he helped support the growth from a “play group” to it becoming a well respected Ofsted Outstanding rated setting. He has also been a Governor of a highly successful Secondary School.
