Susan Grimsey is now retired but prior to retirement she was an Assistant Headteacher in a highly successful Secondary School.  Susan started teaching mathematics thirty-five years ago joining Southfield School after graduating from Loughborough University. Prior to entering senior leadership Susan held posts as Assistant Professional Tutor with responsibility for supporting new staff and Head of Faculty (Mathematics, IT, Business Studies and Economics). Susan enjoys walking, travelling in her campervan, reading and a variety of crafts including sewing, knitting and crochet. She has previously been a Beaver Scout Leader, Church Youth club Leader and a committee member of a local youth brass band and a local school fundraising group.
